Christine Luzuriaga is the founder and chief executive officer of Affluent Learning Center. She is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with active SLP licenses in five states. Christine holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and is an Autism Specialist. She earned her BS in Health Sciences and MS in Speech-Language Pathology with a bilingual emphasis from Florida International University, followed by an MS in Applied Behavior Analysis from Simmons University.
With extensive experience across pediatric and geriatric populations in various settings, Christine specializes in pediatric speech and language delays, feeding disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech. She is certified in Picture Exchange Communication System (L1), Electrical Stimulation, Lee Silverman Voice Treatment, and Interactive Metronome. Her expertise in behavior includes early intervention, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and social skills.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys dining with family or friends, reading, practicing French, traveling, and relaxing at the beach.
